Seal matrix for I’d

Post by shanel82 » Sun Feb 18, 2018 12:42 am

Hello all , I found this seal a few years back, but I have no clue to what it is,im guessing
A seal matrix, but I have no idea why there seems to be treads on it, that seem quite large as if it was screwed onto something quite big, any information on this item would be very much appreciated,
Thanks to all who take the time to have a look , much appreciated 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Could they not just be ridges to secure the barrel of the seal in the presumably broken or rotted wooden handle?

Looks to me like a crown over the letter T, and the horizontal stripes on the T represent the colour blue.
