A few finds of late

Post by Mac91 » Sun Apr 15, 2018 11:53 pm

Hi all,

Just a few finds I've got over the last couple of weekends. Nothing too major or spectacular but plenty to keep me entertained!

The cross I quite like and I reckon is late 19th/early 20thC (sterling silver stamped on the back). This weekend I managed a rather sorry looking William III sixpence. There is a very slight bend at either side of it so could well have been a love token.

Also one half of a Victorian military buckle, sadly no sign of the other half! First one of these I've found

All found with the CTX ::g

The R/H Stable Belt buckle section, appears to be a Victorian General Service issue. The silver crucifix is a nice find. ::g Regards ss47

Thanks all. The cross came out of a field I had battered with the AT Pro, have to say the CTX does seem to be pulling a few extra finds from it
