Have been detecting a large permission in Scotland for months, today detected in one of the smallest fields approx 500m x 100m. First up was a turner followed by a spindle whorl, promising start, targets everywhere so assuming undetected. Has been pasture for years but assuming ploughed at some time as drinks can deeper than the whorl.
Using the CTX and 17" coil open screen, highly mineralised and iron infested ground. Pic of all finds in the basin. I'm hoping a couple of good bits in there
