Post by Bargeman » Sat Jun 16, 2018 8:48 pm

Right then where shall we start? I know, out in the field with the Nox 800...

I met up with Derek today, Bob was busy again, it has been a couple of weeks since Bob has managed to join us, but this will change as soon as the crops start coming in. but Derek was soon in the swing of things, so to speak, and was soon knocking out a few nice finds, including a nice George 4th Farthing, a crotal bell, a sixpence, and various other fittings...

Yeah, ground was horrible for digging. Heard of a few Romans but we didn’t see any of them.

That's a lovely crotal bell. It looks early, but it's hard to be sure without seeing the suspension loop. Can you do another pic of it?

(Ah, just spotted that it wasn't your find.)
