From todays dig in Burford...I attended a Metaldetectives dig in Burford today, and while I never found anything, some nice things did pop up including these two items, and a fantastic gold mourning ring that I never got a picture of, but I am sure it can be seen on facebook or somewhere.

Re: From todays dig in Burford...Just curious. I hear about all these digs near me, after they have happened through reports on here etc. I'm currently without a permission due to crops being planted so wondering is there somewhere I can keep an eye on for future digs? I've heard of about 5 or 6 in the last 2 months all within 30 minute drive from my house. Would love to get out somewhere over the winter and actually meet another enthusiast in person.
