Two silvers from today + bits

Out today on a well rotted stubble field, somewhat damp for most of the day, finds came at regular intervals, soil conditions varied from sticky clay to quite fine and easy to dig, couple of nice buckles, don't know what the artefact is in photos 2/3, 1770 George 111 halfpenny, William 111 1696 milled sixpence and a Charles 1 half groat tried to identify the Spinks number but to no avail, over to you MR "A" if you please. :D


Below are my settings used on the CTX:
17 inch coil
Discrimination 1, open screen
Discrimination 2, Rog Fallens' Mode 2 settings Andy Sabisch CTX 30300 Handbook Page 139
Sensitivity: Auto sensitivity +3
Response: Normal
Fast: Off
Deep: On
Saltwater: Off
Profile type: 2 tone Ferrous
High Trash
Gain 25
Threshold level: 30
Volume limit:30
Threshold pitch: 15

2 really nice silver's. The Charles half groat is really good

Ps I’m beginning to like buckles more so recently as I was never overly impressed. Funny how we change! 👍
