Fake George 111 half crown, George 111 sixpence + bits

Post by Giz » Sun Jun 18, 2017 10:08 pm

Like so many, detectable land at this moment in time is at a premium, so I count myself fortunate to have approximately 25 acres of pasture. The paddock I have at the moment is small at around 1.5 acres and is situated adjacent to the farmhouse. the landowner does not now when the house was built. I would estimate 16th/17th century. Below are the finds from my latest visit. The main photo shows 6 large buttons + what would have been a huge crotal bell. The Bullhead sixpence is quite worn. The large coin is a fake George 111 half crown. all found with the Deus 3.2 version slightly modified "Fast" programme. Full tones, sensitivity 90, TX power 2, Reactivity 3, Silencer -1, 11 inch coil. Thanks for looking. ::g
