1, Bent so out of shape i cant see it
2, Details are not that visible
3, you may need to "Preview" the post before posting to check the image is there
4, you may need to either edit or submit a new post hopefully with an image
This is all tongue in cheek, don't take offence, just banter

Nice coin, and some good detail on it, better condition than a lot that come out the ground

Re: Charles 1st scottish 20 pence
I keep seeing reference to 'bent out of shape' and 'love tokens' so I’m guessing giving your sweetheart a knackered coin that would no longer fit in 'ye oldie parking meter' was a gesture of endearment. Should I give something similar to TLOML, say a bent 2p, or is my understanding wrong and it wouldn’t be received with the same emotion with which it was offered?
Lovely coin and great banter leading up to the grand reveal.

Re: Charles 1st scottish 20 pence
I think the coins were bent into a riffle as a gesture of love to a young lady - if she kept it, it was sure thing. If discarded well I guess they are recovered 400 yrs later...

Thanks EK, that explains a bit more. Lucky for us I guess, much more symbolic that a couple of pints and a good curry.

A nice coin EK, a bit different from the more common ones. Thanks for getting the pic up.

Re: Charles 1st scottish 20 pence
Getting it valued next Thursday - the variation online is wild anywhere from £50 - 1600 i have seen so best thing to do is get it valued by a professional...
