Don’t believe it, never found a cut half now I’ve found 2 in the last 2 hunts! Also on a site which I was told has been hunted out by 2 different clubs.
Not as good as my other one and unfortunately I don’t think it’s the other half
Looks like a short cross, found in ploughed land with AT Pro.
Any help always appreciated in terrible at ID’ing these coins, the other half cut was a Henry 3rd if that narrows things down?

As you said it's a short cross and this too looks like a coin of Henry III, possible moneyer/mint Salemun of Canterbury.
