This has a light wash with mild detergent and deionised water

I think this is cooked beyond reason

But its my first serious coin - would some wax help preserve and bring out the detail

the pitted surface is just scattering the light so you can't see it ?

should I have done different ?

I see this as learning for when its a coin that matters

let me know

Thanks Paul
