George III 6 pense value

Post by Vreugy » Tue Nov 04, 2014 8:33 pm

Hey, just wondering if people sell coins, what my 1817 silver George III six pense would be worth? I'm not into selling the stuff I found, but just interested. The head has a mark on the temple, but is in excellent condition besides that. Anyone have a rough estimate once I'm done cleaning it?

Cheers and thank you!

Hi, nice wee coin. Spink says around £8-10 in fair condition like yours seems. Doesn't sound much for a 200 yr old piece of silver! Sorry.
As the Germans 'might' say:-

"SchvinginbleepindigginundFindenstuff!!!"

new XP Deus/11in coil: 1 silver sixpence 1 foot down!! most impressive.
