Ignoring for a moment that 15thC would make it Medieval rather than Tudor - it is lovely. ::g

looks more 14th-15th with typical medieval style script a similar ring was found in somerset a few years ago without the script dated medieval ::g

Stunning and only a very few detectorists ever get the chance to find a ring of that caliber and age.

The finder was very lucky to have it returned to him.

PS I wonder who located the Joan of Arc ring. ::g Jerry.

TVC Valuation..... £18k but the museum couldn`t raise the funds.
Sold for £19k..... less VAT & commission.

People are hasty to slate the TVC yet, as in the majority of cases, they were spot on....hence folk stay rather quiet.

Good post ... I would like to add that the TVC valuations are always in "good faith" ... there is no conspiracy to rip people off... and like all of us they dont always get it right.
