I once had a nice collection of cod and medicine bottles, plus an assortment of other old stuff.
I'll tell the story ........
Many many years ago, about 25 years ago I think, my friend Nick came up with a theory that in olden times (pre bin collection) the towns folk would prefer to dump their waste at the bottom of a hill rather than carry it uphill, so far I agreed, he then went on to claim that any bumpy ground at the bottom of the hill near our Tudor town, when dug, would reveal treasure
yeah right, course it would.
So the next day, just as he said, we dug up some brilliant finds!!!
I'll tell the story ........

The bottle dump you have discovered dates from around 1910-1920s, Some nice bottles and relics may well be buried there just depends if the refuse has come from a wealthy area. Well found
