Lost ring in S Warwickshire

Post by Sabaidee » Wed Jun 06, 2018 9:58 am

Hi - my husband lost his gold ring on Sunday either whilst pumping out the cellar or whilst doing stuff in the garden. He's v upset as it means a lot to him and I'm very keen to see if anyone can help. We know its here somewhere..... might you be interested in having a look? Very happy to pay/donate! We're pretty much half way between Banbury and Southam in South Warwickshire..

I went & searched for the ring this afternoon, sadly didn't find it but will be returning to check the part of the (currently flooded) cellar which I was unable to check due to the pumping gear that was there. Looks like this lady's husband lost it as a result of having his hands in cold water for a long period of time.

Could the ring have been sucked into the pump, or sucked outside?

Not likely to have gone down the pipe as it has a good filter on it but there's a deep sump in the cellar where they have been pumping the water out which I'll check as soon as they've got the level down
