Reward for finding lost wedding ring, West Wittering Beach, West Sussex

Post by PDT » Sat Jun 02, 2018 8:28 am

Hi
On Monday 28 May I lost my silver-coloured wedding ring at West Wittering beach. It was about 11am and the tide was quite high. I was on the edge of the sea.

I don't live locally but if anybody is detecting on the beach and comes across it I will pay a £100 reward for return of the ring - huge sentimental value! There is a very distinctive engraving on the inside with initials and date. Please spread the word locally if you live near there. Thank you!

I am not sure you have done the right thing giving out the details of the exact location, may have been better to ask for help via the private message system and possibly meet up with a member of this forum and show them or discuss with them where you think you may have lost it. I sincerely hope you do get it back, unfortunately its to far me, best of luck.

hi, were you below the high tide mark when you lost the ring ? only ask as the Wittering estate get a bit sniffy about detecting. I'm local so could have a chat with the estate to see if they would mind.
