Dear members of this forum
I apologise as I am new to this forum and I am not sure whether this is the appropriate place to seek help but I lost my engagement ring over the weekend I believe in Sworders Field in Bishops Stortford. It is a bespoke ring and very precious to me and I am gutted. A kind lady has lent me her metal detector which I am going to take out this afternoon but being a total novice I don’t hold out much hope of finding anything given my lack of skill and experience. She has suggested that I try this forum for any help from anyone local who might be kind hearted enough to apply their expertise and maybe can try and help me to see if it can be located!
I appreciate it is a long shot and thank you for reading in any case!
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Sadly I live many miles away but I am sure that one of the forum members will offer to help.

hello, sorry to hear of loosing your engagement ring, if you do not find anyone off the forum give Richard or Gill a call on 01933 383364 as they run the Federation Of Independent Metal Detectorists who may have a local member to you, good luck
