Hi, one of the closest groups to you who are open to new members is ' Derbyshire Detecting ' (find them on facebook)
They dig every weekend and do a few in Buxton etc , so not too far from you.
It's a small friendly group, who are very helpful.👍
Hope this helps 👍

Just put a post on myself.

Does this interest you?

Hello. I am looking for a detecting buddy, preferably a Deus user.

I have an XP Deus. I have many permissions that I can share, several on
previously undetected land and on land of archaeological or historical
significance. However I have found nothing noteworthy on these permissions.

I live just north of Buxton, Derbyshire and I am a member of the High Peak MDC

Hi Rick and welcome to our forums
If you look left l;/ you will see many sections of our forums all neatly split into their groups.
There is a wealth of information in there and worth a look to get used to forum life.
For instance there is a Buddy forum and an Introduce yourself forum, which might be somewhere for your first few posts
Good luck and any querys then please contact one of the Green moderator names where we will try to help you out.
When you are right no one remembers; when you are wrong no one forgets
