Friend buddy’s hasting

Post by Biscuitbob » Sun Dec 23, 2018 10:45 am

Hi all, I’m robert from Hastings

I have just started to detect again after a lapse in time. Is there anyone local who knows the area well enough who could accompany / show / introduce me to areas where best to search? Advice always welcome.

I am of a mature age 54 🤫. Yes and still have my marbles 😂😂, with my own equipment. Can travel and offer lift.
Have done a bit recently but feel I could do better than tent pegs and bottle tops!

I’m looking for a buddy/companion for detecting around the Hastings & St Leonard’s / surrounding areas. Have transport so can travel further afield.

Currently use Garret ace 250 and now awaiting arrival of Makro Multi Kruzer
I did try the Minelab go find 66 but do not like it so it’s on eBay now.

I can be a bit shy at first and can take a little while to open up/ get to know me
And will always help others out as long as you don’t try to take the mick out of me

Look forward to your view/ comments

Happy hunting

Robert

Hi Robert,

I too live in Hastings, similar age, and have recently returned to the hobby.

I work away, so only get out on the odd weekend at the moment, but happy to join up.

I have I would say one and a half permissions in the pipeline, the landowner currently rents land to a second farmer who has crops planted, so am awaiting an update, the half is because he has some woodland around his house.

So for now relegated to the beach, but let me know if you have somewhere to go and want company.

Regards,

Gary / Gremlin
