I think it’s a problem with the clamp as it slides in and out when clamped down.
The lower stem is getting very worn though.
Anyone have any info before I splash out on new parts Unnecessarily.
Thanks

Deus problem.Anyone had the problem with the lower shaft falling out when detecting? It’s not funny when it all goes lite and then you see the lower stem and coil on the floor

Re: Deus problem.Slap a rubber band round it and you’ll be fine. Or you could be clever and ignore me, instead following the advice on here viewtopic.php?t=34917

Re: Deus problem. Thanks oxgirl, I like the glue on clamp then allow to dry bit. Good research on my behalf. Re: Deus problem. You can replace that part of the shaft that most likely is worn out.

Re: Deus problem.I have in the past just use a small piece of insulation tape on the flat part of the cam lock if one is not enough add another its a bit fiddly but works a treat.
Re: Deus problem.Remember when storing your Deus to put both shaft locks into the "relax" position. Can help to prolong their life.
Re: Deus problem.Just an update.
I took the advise and smeared some glue on it. Word of warning. DONT PUT THE WRONG CAMLOCK IN THE WRONG SLOT AS THEY BREAK WHEN YOU CLOSE THEM . I managed to snap the little lug off, it Still works though and now it doesn’t slip let alone fall out
Re: Deus problem.I have the same problem with my Deus which I have used since 2010. I use an old plastic marker you get with pot plants as a spacer, works a treat
