First Trip with ADX 250 -- Nice Silver!

Post by BAMBAM » Sun May 12, 2013 12:15 pm

I had my first trip out with the ADX 250 on fields in Hull with Stew.

Impressed with the clarity of signals on good targets and its rejection of trash.

It pulled up this little beauty on a previously well worked field about eight inches down.

The difference between perception and reality can be vast indeed.

Hi Mega B, yes swopped the Rutus,,, good machine but too many options and tones for me. The ADX is single tone off 4khz and does the job.

All the best,

Brian

Lovely find for a first outing with a new machine Brian, it gives you confidence in machine when that happens.

I keep threatening to get into this field detecting malarkey one day but I think the salt and sand is in my blood for good.

Hi Ray, Im lucky got the chance to buddy up on some local fields. But believe me its much different to how it reads in the mags . good finds are nearly as hard to come by as the are on the beach/foreshore.

All the best Brian

Glad you managed to get on the fields Brian, I know your heart was in to that when talking to you in the past. I did lots of land detecting in my Donny detecting club days but always looked forward to my next beach outing . Hope you continue to dig great finds like the one on this post.

Regards Ray
