Personally I don't see the point the only differance is between the two is the ground balance is set internal on the ADX 250 and the Advent is manual..

You might get that little more depth setting it yourself but that's only if you have the conditions to do so, and besides the ADX 250 is a deep machine anyway with it transmitting a low frequency...

Only my opnion of course but i would leave things as they are... :)

I would be very interested in adding the ground balance to my adx 250. Would anyone be able to provide anymore information on how it is done?
I'm thinking it might be especially useful to have this feature if I go for an aftermarket coil.

Hello 'Dai', Despite the original post and subsequent replies being from 2011, hopefully you will get some relies to your question. You could always refer to the TH or Searcher magazines where you'll find adverts for making such upgrading modifications ::g Good Luck. Regards ss47

Thanks SS47, that sounds like a good idea. Would I need to find someone who has collected them over the years or are there old copies available online?

I've sent you a PM, Dai.

(not because it's a Masonic secret, I'm just referring him to a different forum, and that's frowned upon....)
