Which power supply?

Post by Easylife » Fri Jun 29, 2018 12:37 am

I have blown the power supply for my fast AA Ni-Mh battery charger. It was 240 to 12 volt, switching mode, and rated at 1.7A. I have the choice of a 1.5A or 2.0A, so which would be the better replacement? I have ordered the 2.0A as I guess that a device would only draw the current it needs rather than being pushed that full current, did I do right? x;

Yes, you've made the correct choice.
