batteries and depth

Do cheap batteries or worn out ones affect the depth of a detector??

Good question ::g I used to use a lazer B3 and I was always more confident when I put new batteries in it .. I changed them every couple of weeks Regardless ::g

No.

There will be a voltage regulator in the detector and it will keep that voltage at a constant rate so the electronics remain stable, that is until the batteries finally run out of charge.
