Today only cheap batteries

Post by Dave The Slave » Sun Dec 06, 2015 1:30 pm

Always buy " The Mail on Sunday ", today in there is a £5 voucher for Robert Dyas, nothing to fill in , just cut out and take to your nearest branch. Duracell Ultra Power AA 8 pack, reduced from£8.99 to £4.99, hand the voucher over and all it costs is the £1.60 paper. Bought 2 papers got 2 free packs, handy for this time of year, will also have a spare set for the CS4PI over winter. If you spend over £5 reduces your item by a fiver. Coupon today only.

Nicely flagged up. The Duracell Ultra Power AA 8 pack at £4.99 is a good buy anyway so worth stocking up for Christmas.
When I spot vouchers like this I will frequently buy the paper as what you save more than pays for it, so you have a "free read" and safe mony on the purchase. :)
Sadly in this case my nearest Robert Dyas store is just over a 30 mile round trip, so would spend more on fuel than I would save :(

The best disposable batteries are Lithium ones such as the Energiser ultimate lithium, (I often get mine from fleabay as they are the cheapest) but these will out last any alkaline batteries (such as the Duracell) many times over and weigh around a third of the weight!
