Best maps for logging finds?

Post by HolzHammer » Fri Jul 13, 2018 8:24 am

Morning All,
I'm chasing my tail trying to find an answer in previous threads - I'm finding Google Earth hard to work with... what's a good alternative online mapping service on which to plot waypoints?
I don't own a specific gps device yet, just the iPhone to log coordinates.
Many thanks in advance
All the B
Alexander

Hi Holz,

If you have a Google account you can use MyMaps and add points of interest, highlighted areas, add lines and labels. You can also have multiple layers of those objects. Sign in to your Google account and go to https://mymaps.google.com to access the software in your browser.

Hi. I use map marker for android. Has up to date satelite images and you can add photos of your finds for each marker
