Is Etrex 30 good to go without add-ons?

Post by follycollie » Tue Aug 05, 2014 2:27 pm

Hi guys

I've been reading lots of threads on here about choosing a GPS system. Some of you seem to have a lot of experience and knowledge on this subject. I'm pretty much thinking I will go down the Etrex 30 route, but I just wondered, will it do what I hope it will, without any additional accessories or add-ons?

I need it to log find spots, track my movements, possibly overlay other maps (although I'm worse than average with anything more complicated to understand than my phone - but my husband likes technology stuff so could help me there)...

Any advice very much appreciated!

Cheers ::g

From your list of wants, the etrex20 will do the job.
DEUS 9" Elliptical, 9", 11" and 13" coils, MI-6, Propointer, WS4 x 2, 2nd shaft (Upgrade path:- F75+Sunray, X-terra-50)
