Pro Find 25 Doing its own thing.

Post by coldfield1966 » Thu Jul 21, 2016 2:08 pm

Pro Find 25 playing up and doing its own bloody thing! Has brand new battery's in, Detector switched off when using the Pro Find 25, not near any cables, electric fencing or anything to disturb it. But when its being used it just does its own thing??
On high volume it goes mad on volume below that it goes mad all the way to the lowest volume. Think i have a Broken or a Dodgy PinPointer?

Anyone help please. :-L

Mine also seems to be doing its own thing....
Sometimes when turning it on it fails to make the last beep and won't work.
Sometimes it finally beeps and then when it approaches metal it starts going mad and won't stop when it moves away and won't shut up until i turn it off. Grrrr.
I think it's heading for the bin.
I never rated it highly even when it was new
