Hmmm, wasn't ML bought by Malaysian Electronics company Codan a few years ago?

Here's a piece of irrelevant information. I see Maplin has been sold by Montagu to Rutland Partners. ;f

When I had my problems with Minelab, one of the complaints I had was that neither crawfords nor Joan Allen had stock for replacement.
They assured me it was an ordering glitch.
But I now know that Minelab (Ireland) lie.
