Finds display for farmer

Post by bryan162 » Wed Mar 13, 2019 8:23 pm

I have been detecting on a local property now for the last few years, back in January I was asked by the owner to make a display up for them them for a function they have at the end of March. My finds over the years have been many and varied so I thought that I would try to give a display showing the varied types of finds it is possible to find with a metal detector. I have a good relationship with the owner so I thought that I would make up a collection for him to keep not just show once at an event.
Your thoughts please as to if you think I have achieved this, as I am running out of time to change things.
Thanks in Advance

I used a glue gun to fix all the items in place, the red felt is stuck to carpet underlay and the cut to size this also helps with fixing the items that are irregular shapes.

Bryan, I'd say you've exceeded any expectation that your farmer may have held.
It certainly exceeded what I expected to see when I opened your post - It's a cracking display. ::g

I wouldn't be at all surprised if other 'permissions' come your way as a result of the forthcoming 'event' 'Top Job ::g Regards ss47
