Shame there are not more coins on the permission to put in it. Looks a good display. May use the idea for my permissions.

Will be making another one of these frames again soon for a another farmer ::g
This one given to the son of a farmer who is about my age and was very interested in what was being found on the farmland . Four years ago and I am still searching these fields. Hundreds of coins over the years although not many milled silver. A very high number of worn and corroded coins which don't display well.

The different types of musket balls ,buckles and buttons display well when laid out.
Making a display and giving back finds of interest is an enjoyable part of the hobby. [:)

Well done mate ...a very kind gesture & sure the farmer will appreciate it . It can sometimes be hard to part with our hard earned finds , but the rewards are manifold . It is a good feeling knowing that the artefacts and coins are returning to the farm where they were originally lost / deposited , especially when the farmer really appreciates the history of his land . ::g

Thank you all for looking and your kind words ::g ::g the farmer says that a lot of people had noticed it on his wall and what a good talking point it has been.

I will do a similar one next time it might be a half size one . Most of the farmers around here are into their shooting so they like to see the different types of musket balls and shot through the ages .

I still haven't found another button with a very early plough engraved on it so they must be quite rare items to find. Maybe it was a one off custom button made for the farmer at the time of the first plough in use of that type. It pays to take a carful look at the Tombac buttons [:)

What a great idea !!! Hope you've not trademarked it as I'm sure many people will "borrow" that idea for themselves. Including me lol.

In your display in the centre just under half way up is that a small bell?

My current permission doesn't yield a great deal, but I'm still sure the farmer would be delighted to receive a large frame with a button in the middle!
Joking aside, what you've done there is just superb.
