I know that the scope does not have any discrimination, but what a scope it would be if it were able to eliminate certain metals. I've recorded several air signals of various items so far. These signals could I believe be stored on say an android device/phone. An app would have to be written to compare the scope signal with the stored ones. Don't know if this would eventually work. Any Ideas lads/ladies? I'm going to record any signals on beach this weekend and compare on PC if they look similar to the air tested ones.

It may be worth keeping up-to-date with news on Fisher metal detectors, they are working on a new discriminating PI in collaboration with the French designer of the 'Manta' machine.
