Cs4pi on its way

Post by komet » Tue Jun 13, 2017 7:55 pm

Have ordered a cs4 pi. After reading reviews and watching to many YouTube programmes! Not having much luck with my XP deus and having sold the minelab to get the XP I have taken a leap of faith with the cscope. Looking forward to more beach detecting, any tips?

Great beach machine. Punches well above it's price point, and is built like a tank.
Cscope aftersales is second to none.
I stay away from the upper tourist area and dry sand as there is too much rubbish and a PI does not discriminate no matter what the claims for the more expensive PI's. If you discriminate on a PI you WILL lose depth.
*Stay on the wet sand where the trash is less.
*Wear the control box on your belt and this detector is even lighter, plus no risk of dropping the machine in the water unless you fall over.
*Wear over ear headphones, to cut out wind noise and also to hear those deep whispers of deep deep targets.
*Get a heavy duty sand scoop with tough long handle, as you need to dig fast and deep, to avoid your target sinking faster than you can dig. I use the "Muck the Digger" scoop. Around £100 but you should never need to buy another. Built like a battleship.
*Cancel your gym membership as you will no longer need it.
