Picking up 6mxi this weekend

Post by Mayprop » Fri Mar 25, 2016 4:47 pm

Looking forward to it, never owned a Cscope before, this one comes with the standard 2D coil plus the larger 11 x 14 2D coil
18 months old, hardly used, looks like new in the original box for only £325 Bargain ::g
About time I bought British, and with Addicted to bleeps helpful video's, that made up my mind, I prefer sound's to numbers, and the three tone sounds perfect to me.
Will keep you posted as to how I get on.

Its a great machine mate, dont think you will be disappointed. ::g

They seem to be a bot out of fashion at the moment but the build quality is great and they are very robust, mine has dome may hours in all conditions and is good as new. :D

The 18KHZ is great for Hammies and small bits, good recovery speed.

Have you got the old stem or the new strainght one?

Control box on top or under the arm cup?

It's the old stem, but will probably hip mount it.
Your right about them not being in fashion, everything seems to be about the more numbers and info on the screen the perceived better machine, even I've fallen for it :( but the manufacturers have to keep the business moving along.

Now the proud owner of the 6mxi :D
To be honest the machine is so good, you would think it had just come out of the Factory, everything works as it should, and the sounds are crystal clear, the balance is good for me with the box mounted at the back, he also supplied another stem so I could mount it in front if I wish.
Next step is to try it out on my permissions and see how it goes at Factory recommended settings and take it from there, the only problem is I don't want to get it dirty ;;z but then I thought sod it, I have a Wife to clean it ::g
Then I woke up :D
