Please remember this is a work in progress and code is being tweaked, I just need to see this theme in a live environment to know what to change ::g

Font size has changed
Thread areas have got bigger
sides of my screen are empty and white (I do have an adblocker running)
Hi Bruce, how did you used to see the theme, that`s how I have always seen the MDF on my PC`s resolution.

mrix
Really?
I am trying to find a screenshot i took before you changed the theme
To me as soon as you switch themes it goes fuzzy, larger, blurred and generally totally different

Hi BA, you say the sides of your screen are empty and white, this has always been the case, I am curious and wonder did your theme used to stretch from one side of the screen to the other ?

No it just seems more dominant now....i think because the font looked so clunky
You must have tweaked something because the font is much better now
I have big monitors and maybe the fonts just exagerated the whiteness

Yes very true and an adage I normally stick by, unfortunately the MDF theme needs updating asap as it can lead to security problems and also on the next software forum update the theme will not work at all so its very important to get this new one fixed asap ::g

I know you say your screen doesnt change
But now we are back to the old theme it is much more pleasing to the eye
Its not blurred, its not large anymore
It doesnt do my eyes in
Now, if your screen stays the same and mine doesnt, then whats the difference?
I have a multiple monitor set up but that shouldnt do anything really

I dont change anything each time you have changed the theme, yet each time my eyes instantly scream at me that it looks bad

The thing that attracts my eyes are the blue and red circles next to the thread title
One is small and clear the other is larger and blurred
Maybe its just me, well obviously it is just me cause nobody except me is whining about it lol

Hi Bruce, To be totally honest I was about to reply and say I cannot see any difference, but now you mention the circles I can see an increase in size and not quite so sharp, everything else appears ok.
Your obviously extremely observant and can pick up on subtle changes.

The quote backgrounds I ignored as known (I think) .

What is funny is that on my smaller screen it now seems to have gone a bit less clear... might be just me.... I am thinking that there must be optimal settings for different screens, so not going to be able to please everyone :-/ .... will see if I can read up on it somewhere.

On my phone much better once new settings used :

Bother, no add files on this thread... have screen photo of the two compared.

Much clearer and better contrast. A couple of articles on the topic :

https://www.wired.com/2016/10/how-the-w ... nreadable/

Font size not a problem on phone as easily zoomed, but otherwise

Yes I do too. Before, the blue menu box on the left and the smilie box on the right went right to the edge of the screen. Now there is a white section between the screen edge and these boxes
