Barry - there are some serious guys doing those videos and reporting their opinions on some of the other forums.
I have ordered the latest V3 version with large coil for the USA and after we receive it, we will be doing our own video tests against the GPX-4800, E-Trac and Deus.
If I was you - I would sit on the sidelines for a few weeks and wait it out. I think it's going to be a specialty machine for use in situations where you need lots of depth in clean fields/pasture and are not near EMI.
We are especially interested in how it performs on the salt water beaches.

The V3 is meant to be a lot better than the V2I so in my opinion the V3 must be a beast, the only downside is it is in so much demand they are waiting months for delivery ;;z
America has gone wild over them as they do what they say in the video's
Minelab equinox 600

Not enough time in fields :-( too far from the beach :-(
