standard miniature toggle switch.

original is a double pole double throw which only latches on one side so the pinpoint is momentary

Only one side is used so a single pole double throw works fine and is what i used.

eBay will give you free postage but links on here aren't allowed

Farnell
RS
Tayda
Mouser
CPC

will all have the switch

the diameter of the hole in the box is 6.35mm on-off-momentary

The standard lever length isn't annoying but the longer ones are available for a few pence more.

Many Thanks Kaola, Yes will give them all a try, Yes you mentioned about the longer toggle switch, i would like to find the longer one if possible. Also yes it will be an easy fix, not bad at soldering, haha

Hi if you still need the trigger switch for your 1265x then I have them in stock. They are long like the original only difference is instead of cilindrical actuator it is flat a bit like you find on the nokta impact. They are spring loaded on/off/on with the spring returning to middle off position. Just message me and I can organise shipping. I’m in UK. Alternitavly I can direct you to my eBay where I can list it and you can go through the usual eBay channels. All the best.

Just in case of confusion I noticed that someone suggested on/off momentary switch. I’m pretty sure the 1265x is basically the same as the 1266x and therefore it’s the switch that you push forward to change to disc 2 and to pull it towards you for pin pint therefore needs to be the on/off/on.
The on/off would only work for pin pointing and would not be able to push forward to change from disc 1 to disc 2. Anyway if this all makes sense then please get in touch.😄👍

my original switch does not latch in the pinpoint mode.

on/off/momentary on or on/off/momentary is how they are normally catalogued.

on/off/on is if normal discripion for switches that latch in all three positions and would not come out of pinpoint mode when you release the pressure.

Ok well I’m not sure if this is what’s needed. But the offer is there for anyone who needs the switch I have. Not easy to find. I’m sure the reason they need to be on/off/on is because of the need to push forward for disc two to activate. And pull towards to activate pinpoint. It also has to be momentary as to return to the off position in the middle. The switch I have is on/off/on momentary. So will not be stuck in either the pinpoint mode or disc 2 so will automatically return to the off position in the middle where normal search mode is in operation in disc 1. Hope this makes sense to the 1265 users out there. Cheers bob
