11" coil for M-Scope 1235X.

Post by Frenchieboy » Sun Jul 15, 2018 7:19 pm

I have just come across an 11" coil that is listed for a Fisher M-Scope metal detector.
I have a Fisher M-Scope 1235X which has a standard 8" coil on it (With a 5 pin female plug) and would be interested in buying this 11" coil to go on it if it will fit. Can anyone advise on this please?
The coil is described as follows:
FISHER M-SCOPE 11" COIL WITH WIRING AND 5 PIN FEMALE PLUG
GOOD CONDITION
I don't think that I am allowed to put a direct link on here to the e-bay listing and I don't want to fall fould of the forum rules so if it helps to advise me the coil can be found on e-bay if you search for "FISHER M-SCOPE 11" COIL GOOD CONDITION"

Any advice will be more than welcome.

Many thanks Guys ::g

Seems like you can still get a new 11"spider coil for x series machines......£150.This may be a better option as it is new and an updated design.

Any idea where I might get one from please? I spoke to Regtons the other day and they said that the coils for the 1235X were no longer available. If one of the newer 11" coils were available I would most definitely be interested! ::g

Edit: I have just found them at Joan Allen's for £150.00 so I will be phoning them tomorrow morning.

Good luck.......hope it fits.....it should do though they also sell the 8" coil too.If you ever have problems with your older coils,pentechnic can rebalance most of the older stuff and repair most older machines......worth knowing.

I put a bid in for the 11" coil but got out bid so it wasn't to be. I don't feel like paying out £150 for a new coil for such an old detector so i will settle for the one that is on the machine and spend some of the money on getting my CS5MX serviced and recalibrater by C-Scopes!

Yes, I've used it on some pretty barren land for a short while and I quite like the machine. It seems well worth getting checked, serviced and re-tuned/re-calibrated.
