Fisher F22

Just got one of these detectors, whist testing to see what numbers come up for items, tried a roman bronze coin in coin mode and it didn't register at all ! came up OK in jewelry mode.
I guess its because they don't have Romans in the USA !

It's aimed at the US "coin-shootin" market, where 5c 'nickels' (and silver half-dimes and many more) don't count as coins. So the 'coin' mode ignores foil, ringpulls, plenty more similar targets, and I guess all British CuNi coins like 5p/10p/20p/50p/sixpence/shilling/florin etc etc.

"Jewelry" is likely the mode to choose, it just removes the iron signal, and signals on all non-ferrous targets.

Now I have used the detector a few times I have found you can "notch" in, number 4, in the coin mode, that will pick up bronze Romans.
