I'll bump this as I'm getting the anniversary edition with large cors 15" coil end of the month so some honest opinions on this would be great too. Cheers Sj

Poorest to best specifications
F75 Original -> F75LTD -> New Enhanced F75LTD

No idea where the Gold edition fits in.

Often a rename and a different colour, box, firmware or something is added to dump old stock.

Maybe a bit of homework is needed to see if it has what you need

Boost Mode
Cache Mode
DST (Digital Shield Technology)
FA (Fast Process)
4 levels of FE Tone
Adjustable Audio Pitch
LCD Serialization

''F75 Original -> F75LTD -> New Enhanced F75LTD''

The above may be open to differing opinions as most people who were long time users of the ''non enhanced'' F75LTD seem to agree that the DST (enhanced) F75LTD is not as deep on the all metal side and maybe a bit less hot on the disc side too, the main advantage of the DST version is the reduced chatter saying that i prefer the DST version as i now love the quite life lol.

Seems F75 users are thin on the ground

But hears what I found

Not having the boost mode is no big deal it just means coins at maximum detectable depths will give a fainter sound.
Again cache mode is not really for normal coin hunting.

If it has the latest software you can switch off the DST well reduce it to 20%

Wasnt the gold stemmed version the original version before the black stemmed special edition came out?
Seems like theyre shifting the original stems under the pretext of a new machine ?
My all black SE has the boost and cache but not the DST part ,its strange an even newer machine doesnt have all the functions of both but just an old stem colour?!?
My SE has special edition on the arm cup but i have seen an SE without it ,has the LTD the same?
Hopefully the gold version has something distinctive to offer its its newer than the rest? I wouldnt think an old colour stem would really make it worth buying over the DST version ,does the DST have something on the arm cup to show its a DST ? LOL
It reminds me of a british company reboxing old machines pretending their different and my series 3 landrover with parts from 3 different years on it!
A case of tarting up old stock to shift it ?

I did think of sending mine off to be updated to DST as it cannot be used anywhere near a particular horse fence but having read many posts on american forums its not as good as non DST machines i decided to ask the farmer to turn the fence off instead ,i know turn it off on entering and back on leaving the horses are far more interested in the strange chap looking down a hole than escaping

Having used an F75 minus the boost mode and one with, don't worry about it, most of these so called boost processes just amplify a weakish signal, problems with this approach include slow recovery speed poor target separation and vague responses to other targets, you'd probably not hunt full time in boost mode. In other words no free lunch.
