Help

Post by Mark80 » Wed Apr 04, 2018 9:56 pm

Good evening all

I have a fisher f22 with a nel tornado coil and I'm have trouble working out what the detector is telling me. When I'm out detecting and I get a good signal it always turn's out to be crap. Could anyone please give me any advice to help me understand the signals better or is the f22 just a crap detector.
Thank for your time.

Have you tried burying a few different targets at various depths to test the detector's performance?

I have a Minelab with a fancy screen display which I ignore. It's set to discriminate against small pieces of iron so other than that I dig everything. Try to find a site which has had less modern day activity then you will have less digging and more of your signals will be older.
