Guess with its auto ground balance it might work if the wet sand is even
Someone towards the end of the above thread had success in saltwater.
Doubt it will cope with gullies and rock pools but its early days

Re: Wet sand
will be interesting to see how it performs on wet sand it is meant to have v flex technology same as xterra range and they struggle on some beaches as do the garrett at pro is it auto ground balance or fixed ground balance? only time will tell just how good or bad they are i have just bought a tecnetics digitek for my daughter i would have bought a go find but minelab was to slow supplying them to the dealers shame as i would have liked to try the go find but my daughter is very happy with the digitek a proper detector for children

Re: Wet sand
Thank guys I will wait and see what the reviews are like, I just have returned from 2 weeks holiday and didn't want to take my E Trac on the plane so this new detector would have been perfect.

Re: Wet sand
IT WORKS A BIT ON WET SAND WITH THE SENSITIVITY TURND DOWN
ON DRY SAND I PICKED A GOLD RING UP AT ABOUT 5" BUT IT WAS AN IFFY SIGNAL
ONLY GOOD THING IS IT IS SMALL

Re: Wet sand
I’ve tried a go find 20 on wet sand and it was a very angry and upset detector! False signals galore... not sure about the better ones -66/44 etc
