Beach hunting settings

Post by Sir Upanotch » Thu Apr 26, 2018 9:05 am

Hello,

Could anyone tell me (as a general rule) what are the best settings for searching a beach?

Thanks

Really need to know which machine for a fair answer
Failing that its just switch on, keep sensitivity down to stop the falsing and chatter and enjoy the sunshine.

Are you searching dry or wet sand ?
Works well on the dry, tend to use custom, discrim below 60, 2 bars off max sensitivity and iron audio off. If you get falsing turn sensitivity down another block.
Have not found an ideal for wet sand and it will continuously bleep.
Cheers ::g

Oooh yes, I can second that. I found his channel a while ago and have found it very helpful.
