Post by steve44 » Mon Oct 01, 2018 2:26 pm

Am buying my first detector next Monday. Advice given to me was a Garrett but seen two in my price range ace 150 and a ace 200i. The difference is only £20 in the price. Is it worth investing the extra £20 what the difference in detector

Hi its worth the extra £20 just because of the visual target number display. It also offers better audio response and a sensitivity button. Google garrett 150 v 200i and you'll find a number of articles and videos.

Hope that helps ::g

Garretts don't particularly like wet sand, dry sand should be ok though.
