Just got a pinpointer protector off fleebay. Hopefully to stop my new pride and joy getting toooo hammered. It's clearish with two black ends. How durable it will b is another matter. Part of me thinks it's electrical heat shrink but it fits ok. Time will tell

I was worried about my Mi6 pinpointer getting ruined as it seemed to scratch really easy when I first got it. I gave it a good clean this week and actually it doesn't look too bad. Personally my experience of covers for my Garrett hasn't been good - they never lasted long and got in the way when you want to put it in the holster so not bothered for this time. Be interested to hear how yours works out.
I use the HOT programme on 17khz, reactivity at 2.5 on v5.21 with the X35 11” coil

i got one of the protectors from the auction site, and i think it will do the job, but is somewhat loose in parts, and i can see in time, that it will crease / split.
after this happens, i will revert back to the innertube route, as 1 innertube will last a while and of course you will have lots of spares from the same tube.
