Possible issue / question....

Post by Bambamsdadda » Wed Oct 25, 2017 6:21 am

My pointer seems to discriminate iron??? Yesterday I dug a target and found it impossible to pin point with the MI-6, it turned out to be iron.
Is there a way to alter these setting via the remote?

It should pick up iron, is the sensitivity set too low :-/

Check out the XP video with Gary from XP for a good demonstration on settings (on YouTube)

Or did you switch it on whilst already in the hole? Then it calibrates eliminating everything >:P
XP Deus !!£$ I use the HOT programme on 17khz, reactivity at 2.5 on v5.21 with the X35 11” coil

It doesn't ordinarily disciminate (not sure it's even capable of doing so). As Oxgirl says, if switched on next to iron it won't calibrate correctly so next time try turning it on a distance from the target. Never had such a problem with mine, so it's likely incorrect calibration.
Essential equipment:
Some sort of electrical gubbins(I'm told it's a Deus). In various colours

Thanks folks. Fortunately I'm going out for a few hours tomorrow so I will give it a go and make sure I turn it on well away from anything.
