New pinpointer - XP Mi4

Post by Oxgirl36 » Fri Apr 06, 2018 11:43 am

Looks like XP are bringing out a new pinpointer shortly (already being advertised).

Same as the Mi6 but without the connectivity to the Deus. You lose the ability to do some of the more advanced stuff through the control box (including the find a lost pinpointer function) but it has all the other advantages of being rechargeable and being fully water proof etc.

In my opinion this pinpointer (I have the Mi6) is far superior in terms of sensitivity than the Garrett carrot and is both rugged and very reliable. No indication of price yet but I suspect it’ll be priced to compete with the Minelab and Garrett and other similar top end pinpointers.

A good option for anyone considering a new pinpointer ::g

Yus, the Mi-4 has the spec of the Mi-6 minus the connectivity. Quite pricey, but the build quality of the 6 is amazing and battery life would see Methuselah out. I doubt the 4 will be any different.
Essential equipment:
Some sort of electrical gubbins(I'm told it's a Deus). In various colours
Jenkins
Gin.
