My New Equinox and My First Roman Coin

Post by sidelight » Wed Dec 19, 2018 12:31 pm

Hello everyone

Recently, the members of my detecting club were rushing out to get the Equinox machine
I have an Exterra 750 Gold..............and a Nokia Racer 2
Istarted off with a Garrett Eurace

At my detecting club recently, quite a few members were aquired the Equinox 850 and were singing its praises

A couple of weeks ago i took the plunge , went out and bought the Equinox 850

Last weekend I was detecting on the same fields that i had detected previously with all machines, and on the second time out with the Equinox, i find a Roman coin.........the area i
was detecting in is not really known for Roman finds so i find it all the amazing.
I`m hoping that getting this Equinox was a good move
Seasons Greetings Every one

Welcome to the NOX club sidelight. Slip of the finger, I’m sure, but it’s the 800.
I’ve got the 600. Not that much different, just a bit easier for the old grey matter to comprehend and does everything I want.
I think, once you’ve got to grips with tweaking the settings, you won’t be disappointed. It realy is a winner.
Well done on the Roman. Very rare finds where I live. Look forward to seeing what else you turn up :D

Well done, I guess we all have targets that in hindsight we wished we had swung our other machines over before digging to know for sure if they would have seen it also. x; ::g

I detect almost every day and I am quite hard on machines so i expect them to go wrong or break occasionally. I couldn't stand to be without my precious even for a single solitary day. Such is the price of obsession! :D
