Vaquero/Trident carbon straight shaft pics

Post by Ada » Wed Sep 26, 2018 9:41 am

Almost forgot.
Some months ago a friend who liked my custom Deus carbon shaft asked me if I could make a mounting adapter to allow a Vaquero/Trident to fit onto a telescopic carbon straight shaft. The only rules being, no alterations to the shaft or control box were allowed and the pin pointer button must be within a thumbs reach.
An adapter was fabricated using 6061 alloy tube, 3mm wall thickness.... 2 holes and some stove enamel later, job done. All parts can be returned to a standard set-up in 5 mins.
Admittedly, Im an Engineer but I reckon anyone could make one these at home.
(The carbon fiber shaft is by Goldenmask)
