I`ve owned a "Jupiter" and I thought it was a good little machine. plenty of adjustments on board it . I believe the "Alter 71 " is very good too ,a friend of mine really likes his.

The Alter 71 is in my opinion the best bang for buck detector you can buy ::g it is no better than a Deus, or an Equinox, but it is not the same price either, and when you consider it comes with 2 coils, the value gets better and better. Show me another machine that has 71 individual frequencies x;
My one has found me more silver than any of my other machines, and also my only gold coin ::g I am not saying that the other machines wouldn't have found these targets, but the Rutus did.
I always load two detectors when I go detecting, one of them is always the Rutus ::g
