Purely out of interest, do any of you use the 'All Metal' mode?
If you do or if you have but prefer 'Discrim' mode I'd be interested to hear your reasons.
I'd be grateful if the replies could come from people who have used both modes, as this will give me a better understanding of real-world experiences.

Thank you.

Bit of an ear bashing on all metal mode . Used mine on 1+ tones sensitivity 75 /80 and disc on 10 that's slight discrimination and still very good depth .Watch the metre all 20s and 30s were iron .
A good deep machine found a lot with mine. good on hammered , still use it on ploughed fields.
Also took the stock coil off and went for Mars tiger coil and also large cors cannon coil.
Find rate went up

I use it to check a target, I set the sensitivity quite high in A/M.

If I find an iffy target I then switch over to A/M just to check it isn't grunting due to the target being just that bit too deep for discrimination mode to give a clear signal.

Also i use it if the signals are very few and far between.
In some case it has helped me get closer to electric fences which the T2 hates

use all metal if the ground is not too trashy ( signal rich) goes deeper and is still very accurate.
on trashy grounds AM is too much for my ear
